Logical thinking in different scenarios.

Outside of academics, I’m a student athlete and have competed at Nationals in 3 different sports. I take part in various other extracurricular including Robotics and MUN, the latter of which I hold the position of Head of Club within my school. I am also the Secretary General for HabsMUN 2027, an international conference expecting over 500 students from across the globe.

Finally, I’m an educational content creator, tying everything I do together. I work alongside many brands including Apple, Logitech and The Student Room to deliver educational content for students, while documenting my own journey in the process.

In February, our team had 14 hours to complete the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics' M3 Challenge.

Modelling online sports gambling algebraically through exponential stake escalation and loss-chasing predictions, we placed 2nd/980 in the world for Technical Computing and a trip to Jane Street, NY to present our work.

I've found that most of what I do outside the classroom maps back to the same skills I use writing code — just without the syntax.

Secretary General, HabsMUN 2027

Running a 500+ delegate international conference

I lead the planning of a three-day conference for over 500 students from across the globe, having chaired my school's weekly MUN club and been the youngest student selected to chair a 40-delegate room at HabsMUN 2025. I've made AI regulation the topic of this year's Crisis Committee.

→ The bridge: coordinating 500 people across three days isn't that different from coordinating services across a distributed system — both need clear protocols, graceful failure handling, and someone who's thought about the edge cases in advance.

RAF Cadet — Flight Sergeant

Leading a cyber team to 1st place, Royal Air Squadron Trophy

As a Combined Cadet Force cadet since 2023, I led our 14-cadet squad's cyber team to first place defending a simulated RAF Air Cadets portal against a live hacking attempt, alongside first aid, drill and leadership rounds — placing 3rd overall and qualifying to the UK Nationals Finals.

→ The bridge: the simulation made me think hard about what the same attack would mean against the real Ministry of Defence — which is most of why I find cybersecurity more interesting than abstract.

Gymnastics Coach, UKCC Level 1

Coaching younger athletes — and learning how to explain things

I coach weekly at E.J.B. Gymnastics Club, mentoring younger athletes through a sport I also compete in at Nationals. It's the same skill that makes my educational content work: breaking something physically and mentally difficult into steps that actually land for the person in front of you.

→ The bridge: teaching a ten-year-old a back walkover and teaching 30,000 students a study technique require the same thing — knowing which step they're actually stuck on.

Senior Prefect — Head of Upper School

Responsible for 375 students, Year 9 to 11

As part of the Class of '27 Senior Prefect Team, I'm responsible for 375 students across three year groups, alongside being a House Sports Representative, Trampolining Team member (competed at Nationals), and Lacrosse Senior Team player (also Nationals). I also won the Audley Twiston Davies Cup for excellence in public speaking and the All-Round Sports Achievement award, 1 of 125 students recognised.

→ The bridge: being responsible for hundreds of people's day-to-day experience at school is the closest thing to product ownership I had before I knew what product ownership was.

The question isn't whether children will use AI, it's whether we've prepared them to use it well.

From a speech I gave as a student panelist at the Girls' Schools Association's Pastoral Excellence Conference, on integrating technology into schools — including a live demo of Check Point's "Gandalf" AI jailbreak challenge to show younger students the real risks of agentic AI in an accessible, gamified way.
